Payment Terms Prices are net and are sterling unless otherwise agreed and stated on the invoice. Subject to credit being approved accounts are due for payment not later than 30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise stated. When deliveries are spread over a period each consignment will be invoiced as dispatched and each invoice will be treated as a separate account and be payable accordingly. Failure to pay any invoice in accordance with the foregoing terms or other terms specified in the Contract shall entitle the Company to suspend further deliveries and work both on the same order and on any other from the Buyer without prejudice to any other right the Company may have. The Company also reserves the right to charge interest on an overdue account, such interest to be calculated on a day-to-day basis on the amount outstanding at the rate of 8% above the official dealing rate of the Bank of England (also known as the UK Clearing Bank base rate). The Company reserves the right, where genuine doubts arise as to the Buyers financial position or in the case of failure to pay for any goods or Services or any delivery or instalment as aforesaid, to suspend delivery or performance of any order or any part or instalment without liability until payment or satisfactory security for payment has been provided. |
