Privacy Policy At egohealth we take client data and confidentiality seriously whether that data relates to an individual or an organisation. We are a registered controller of Personal Health Data, and of Personal Health and Financial details. ICO Data Protection Register No. Z1282127. Due to the nature of its operations egohealth ltd is well aware that Personal Health Information is of paramount importance and it treats any personal client data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information that is provided is available only to the individual client and those authorised by them, such as for individual health management or sharing such personal information with others such as their doctor or other healthcare providers. Unless specifically authorised by the individual, or legally required to do so, egohealth ltd will not release any data in which individuals can be identified. egohealth ltd does analyze data and produce reports for client organizations, but only uses data collected from large populations of users. This aggregate data cannot be used to identify any individual. Clients use the aggregate data to better understand the needs of their organization and employees and design appropriate health improvement programs to meet those needs. For some services egohealth ltd will require an individual's email or postal address so that it can respond to an enquiry or provide the individual with information that they have requested. Any information collected will be treated as confidential and will be used to improve the services provided by egohealth ltd. egohealth ltd will not disclose any personal information except with authorised specific permission. Any email address used will be separated from any personal health or financial information. egohealth ltd is able to provide some of its users some offers and discounts. When registering, by ticking (checking) the box stating 'you do not want to be contacted with offers and discounts’ egohealth ltd will not contact you with such offers and discounts. |
